Family memories that will last a lifetime

The Studio of Fine Photography offers a casual and relaxed atmosphere when working with your family.  Because I feel that less is more when working with children and families, I seldom use props or elaborate back drops.  I strive to capture your family relating to each other naturally, so posing is casual and reflects the feelings you have for each other.  Because I believe that black and white best captures feelings, I will show you many black and white poses of your family.  These classic photos will be treasured for years to come. 

CLOTHING

I encourage simple clothing.  If we are photographing on a dark background, dark clothing is best. If we are using a lighter background, lighter clothing is recommended  It allows us to focus on the person with less distraction.  Groups should try and coordinate their clothing, avoiding any patterns.  Babies, while adorable in bright colors, photograph best in plain light colors.  Babies in diapers are classic and will let us focus on what is important in the photo...your newborn.  It is very important that we discuss clothing before the sitting so I know what you are wanting to achieve with your session.  We will confer before the session in person or by phone.

PROOFS AND ORDERING

Proofs will be ready approximately 10 days after your session.  I will set up a time for you to look at your proofs.  Payment is due in full on the day you order.  GA tax will be added to all orders.  Your portraits will be ready approximately 2 weeks from day of ordering.
